SuperSale!

Okay, so every mall has gone on sale and shopping has been so much fun with all the good deals that I've been getting. I recently bought 2 pairs of shoes and a dress for only Php 3,000.00! Some high street brands took 50% off their merchandise which actually worked against me cause the pair of jeans I've had my eyes on got sold out. So yeah, it's been crazy these past few weeks with all the sales going on. AND IT"S ABOUT TO GET CRAZIER!

What's better than a sale? A SUPER SALE!

The SupeSale bazaar is back at the Rockwell Tent! The best local and foreign brands go up to 70% off. Sunday mass will also be held at 3pm. Only this weekend, July 30 - August 1, 2010.

ALL MAJOR CREDIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.

So come on and swipe it!

Synopsis

Equus by Peter Shaffer

Psychiatrist Martin Dysart is brought the most challenging case of his career. Alan Strang seems like a normal seventeen year old. His life appears routine and his family loving. However, Alan’spassion for horses and an encounter with stable hand Jill has led him to behave in the most devastating way. Dysart must discover why this severely troubled teenager, has gouged out the eyes of six horses with a hoof pick. Dysart slowly realizes that Alan has evolved his own bizarre religion, in which horses are his gods — and has enacted a strange Passion Play.

Only Dysart seems able to grasp the answer to this psychological puzzle. He understands that to cure the boy, he must take from him the richest and most profound experience of his life. The boy’s fierce passion forces Dysart to recognize the barrenness and aridity of his own existence.

This side of the Metro.

B-Side The Collective/ 0922-9989512

7274 Malugay St. Makati

Breaking free from the usual commercial bar concept in the opposite side of the Central Business District, is the recently opened B-Side. This up-and-coming bar is situated at The Collective, an old warehouse renovated to be hub-of-all-sorts center. In such a short span of time, B-Side is slowly earning a reputation among music enthusiasts who have a passion for experimental sounds.

“What sets us apart is the music. We wanted to build a cozy place in Manila where you could chill all night and listen to quality music. We don’t just want the most popular acts to play. We want to give a place for unheard of, experimental, yet quality acts to shine. Also to educate and open people up to different sorts of music,” explains Astrid Reyes, one of the owners of B-Side.

That “bohemian” sort of vibe is translated in the design concept of the place. For example, the spacious living room features dim lights, huge sofas and the works to make guests feel comfy and relaxed while listening to good music. B-Side is currently the favorite hangout place for music lovers, artists, designers, models, and everyone else who are into the underground scene.
